It can live in water, under ground and in the grass.

Protected the house from disasters – so that lightning did not strike.
Befriended children, slept with them in the same bed, ate together from the same plate.
Grass Snake didn’t get angry if the little ones pulled its tail or hit it on the head with a spoon.
