Laima – goddess of birth, luck and happiness

A lady of untold beauty that keeps of changing colourful dresses. Sometimes she appears as a coo-coo.

She decides on one‘s birth and fate, likes to play hide-and-seek. Every new-born gets an omen from Laima, but it is one‘s own responsibility to find that luck and guard it once it has been found.

If you don‘t look for your luck, so may you never find her. Even if she hides behind the next rock.

The goddess appears during childbirth. She helps with the delivery and casts a fate omen.

She looks after that fate during the rest of one‘s live.
